We got a little thrill when Lin-Manuel Miranda took home the Tony last night for “In the Heights”. His hip-hop improv group, Freestyle Love Supreme, was a regular act at Ars Nova when we worked with the Hells Kitchen theater back in 2006.

Don’t miss his speech. It brought down the house.

Ars Nova’s “Thursdays at Ten” Gets Raves

Ars Nova, the intimate Off-Off Broadway theater, tapped PKPR to help shine a spotlight on “Thursdays at Ten,” its weekly series showcasing some of New York City’s most exciting up-and-coming performers, including Creation Nation, Bridget Everett, and Freestyle Love Supreme. Recent in depth coverage of the series has ranged from The New York Times and Time Out New York to New York Press to Thrillist.
