Last week, New Yorkers got a chance to experience how they will live, work, and play in the not-so-distant future at the Gizmodo Home of the Future, a free exhibition in Soho showcasing the design, ideas, and technology set to redefine urban dwelling - from a telepresence robot that can beam you into an office meeting when working remotely from home to a vertical garden tower for growing vegetables indoors to a biodegradable (and edible) cup.
PKPR organized a media preview event for the exhibit, attended by over 20 journalists, as well as one-on-one tours with media outlets and Gizmodo editors.
Coverage highlights included: Business Insider, Associated Press TV, ABC News, New York Daily News, WPIX-TV, Fox 5 NY TV, MTV, Inhabitat, International Business Times, US News & World Report, Metro, Dexigner, Flavorpill, Mother Nature Network, and Untapped Cities.

What would you create if you had unlimited access to Pringles crisps and cans?
As part of a competition, Studio@Gawker asked Brooklyn arts collective Fall on Your Sword to let their imagination run wild…and the results are two mouth-watering pop art masterpieces: a fully-functioning pipe organ made of nearly 250 Pringles canisters and a chandelier consisting of 150 silver-colored casts of Pringles crisps.
PKPR helped turn the jaw-dropping art works into an online hit securing coverage in Yahoo! News, Food Network, PSFK, MAKE: Neatorama, Laughing Squid, designboom, TrendHunter, Junk Culture, Creative Blog, Food Republic, and TV stations from Salt Lake to Cincinnati.
