Moleskine Foundation in Reuters, Inside Philanthropy, Global Citizen

Wikipedia is the 10th-most-visited website on earth, but when it comes to Africa, there is a scarcity of information for an entire continent of one billion people. As Wikipedia marks its 20th anniversary in 2021, an initiative launched by the Moleskine Foundation is supporting young people across Africa in creating content about Africa on Wikipedia, including the translation of more than 200 pieces of COVID-19 information into 17 African languages.

PKPR has secured coverage of the project in Reuters, David Byrne’s Reasons To Be CheerfulGlobal CitizenTechRadarChristian Science MonitorInside PhilanthropyWorld Economic ForumThe Daily MailCourrier InternationalGood News NetworkThe New Activist, and Global Times.

PKPR Client: Moleskine

The Moleskine notebook is the heir and successor to the legendary notebook used by artists and thinkers over the past two centuries. In 1997, a small Milanese publisher brought the legendary notebook back to life, choosing this literary name to revive an extraordinary tradition and accompany the creative professions of our time.

Today Moleskine is a brand that encompasses a family of nomadic objects dedicated to our mobile identity, synonym for creativity and an inspiration for ideas, projects and spontaneous collaborations. Moleskine is now also a series of collections that go beyond paper: bags, writing instruments and reading accessories.
