Kathryn Finney on NPR, Businessweek

In the wake of Twitter last week revealing that African-Americans and Latinos account for less 9% of its global workforce, PKPR reached out to major media to secure interviews with digitalundivided founder Kathryn Finney,  who was named a Champion of Change by the White House for her leadership in breaking down barriers in the tech industry.

Coverage so far has included a segment on NPR’s Marketplace, an interview with BusinessweekSocialTimes, and a profile in PandoDaily with the headline: “We can all complain about diversity in tech…or we can do something about it like Kathryn Finney.”

Speakers confirmed for the conference this October in NYC include FCC Commissioner Mignon Clyburn and Facebook Head of Global Diversity Maxine Williams. It was founded by entrepreneur Kathryn Finney, who was named a Champion of Change by the White House for her leadership in breaking down barriers in the tech industry.
