25 years after gray wolves were reintroduced to Yellowstone National Park, and just weeks after the Trump administration’s removal of the gray wolf from the Endangered Species Act, Smithsonian looks at a new study from Panthera providing the first evidence that gray wolves, not hunters, are the primary drivers of the decline in puma populations in Northwest Wyoming.
