We are thrilled to share a standout feature for Designing Justice + Designing Spaces in Metropolis magazine’s annual North American issue, in a seven-page spread.
The feature spotlights the impact of the organization’s work, highlighting projects such as the LOVE Building in Detroit, Community Works in San Francisco, and their Healing Forest Tables, each reflecting their commitment to restorative justice and community-centered design.
“I made the decision that I was going to use public interest design to develop an infrastructure for restorative justice as a totally different way of doing justice,” said Designing Justice + Designing Spaces co-founder Deanna van Buren.
