Panthera in Earth.com, Nautilus, and The Inertia

Panthera was featured in Earth.com, Nautilus, The Inertia and more this week after its team co-authored a new study on mountain lions and human conflict. Using six years of GPS data from 36 Santa Cruz Mountains cougars alongside Strava trail data, researchers found that the cats rarely come within 100 feet of busy trails, moving faster and more directly when nearby.
